Sebastian has been working for Jobiqo for more than a decade: In 2008, while still studying „Media Informatics and Visual Computing” at the Vienna University of Technology, company founder Klaus Furtmüller convinced him to join the team. Back then still called epiqo, Sebastian started to work for the company in the areas of usability and design.
Several participations in the „Google Summer of Code” led to the development of Drupal modules such as „Rules Link” and „Rules Transformers”. Sebastian also contributed to the improvement of „RESTfull web services” and „Rules 2”. Besides that, he is the author of the module „Autocomplete Deluxe” and co-developer of the Drupal module „Pageroute”.
Sebastian's expertise does not only include the further development of the Jobiqo software. In 2018, he was also responsible for the technical implementation of the Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) at Jobiqo. Numerous clients were relieved at that time that their job boards had become reliable and data protection conform even before the deadline, on May 25th 2018. This was just as important to us at Jobiqo as the implementation of website accessibility guidelines according to the accessibility standards of WCAG 2.0 AA of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), which has been a Jobiqo standard since Summer 2018.
Sebastian is an enthusiastic and talented drone developer and pilot. As such, he regularly participates in ViennaFPV events for First Person View (FPV) pilots. He also entertains the whole team on various occasions with his drone skills and the video clips recorded from the FPV perspective.
